I guess everyone in the basketball world saw it coming. Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers swept the Detroit Pistons today, making it the only sweep in these NBA Playoffs so far. Lebron was amazing. The guy almost had a triple double with 36 points, 13 boards, and 8 assists. Sometimes, you wonder if he can win it all 1 on 5. That guy is that good.
Rasheed Wallace was held scoreless, too. I don't know whether to credit Cleveland's great defense or just chalk it up to the fact that Rasheed didn't come to play. That's disappointing. I don't have any problems seeing Lebron's brilliance totally dominate a team, but at least put up a fight. This is the NBA! Fans pay good money to see a basketball game, not a let-down!
Man, that Allen Iverson for Chauncey Billups trade really didn't work out, did it? Totally screwed the Detroit Pistons over. And now look where the Denver Nuggets are. But I guess Joe has his reasons.
Either way, it's Cleveland Cavaliers against the Los Angeles Lakers in the Finals. You heard it here first.
