Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to be in the NBA Finals. For sure. There's no doubt about it in my mind. Lebron James is the most unstoppable force in basketball right now, and I just don't see anybody in the East being able to stop him and his Cavs.
Kobe Bryant is going to have tougher pickings in the West though. The Denver Nuggets are playing some really good basketball right now, and the Houston Rockets are probably the best defensive team in the league. You know how good they are? I created a new franchise on NBA Live, using the Rockets!
The dark horse out of the West would be the Mavericks. These guys play better that way. When they bulldozed through the league a few seasons back, they got dominated by the Warriors in the first round. When they were up two games to none against the Heat in the Finals, they choked big time. This time, no expectations. Let's see if they can pull it off. But probably not.
My money's still on Kobe Bryant making it to the Finals, though. As for who's going to win it all, I don't know yet. I don't even know whose side I'm on either.
